Beach Babes (Chapter 3)

Madeline and Lizzie walked in their flip-flops all the way to a small shack called Clean Cut Shaved Ice. There was no line, although there were a few people sitting on stools in front of the shack's bar. The girls stood right in front to check out the menu over the server's head.
"Hi, welcome to Clean Cut Shaved Ice," he said. He had on a blue T-shirt with the shack name in bright yellow letters. "What kind of ice would you like?"
"Cherry," replied Lizzie, "because it's red and red's my favorite color."
"Strawberry," said Madeline, "because it's pink and pink is my favorite color."
"Why is the flavor for strawberries pink when they're red?"
"Because the inside is pink."
"Oh!"
"Okay," said the server. He went to the back to prepare the requested shaved ice.
As the girls watched him, one of the guys on the stools caught their attention.
"Hey. How's it going?"
"We're good," replied Madeline.
"We're about to have shaved ice so it's going to be even better," said Lizzie.
The boys laughed.
"Let us introduce ourselves," one of them said. "I'm Mat. This is my friend, Stefan. He's a bit shy."
"No, I'm not, dude," Stefan said. He had a blond mohawk and black studs in his ears. He also had nice green eyes and smooth peachy skin. Stefan was wearing an Iron Maiden T-shirt as well. "If anyone is shy out of the two of us, it is Mat, alright?"
Mat had a brunet mop for hair and blue eyes piercing right under it. He wasn't wearing a shirt, exposing his flawless white skin. He also had one of the cutest smiles that people had ever seen.
"Hey, guilty as charged," Mat said, shrugging. "I only get shy when I meet beautiful girls."
Madeline and Lizzie giggled.
"I'm Madeline and this is my best friend, Lizzie."
"Hi!" Lizzie said, grinning.
"Nice to meet you," said Mat.
The server placed two Styrofoam cups of shaved ice, one red and one pink, on the counter. "That will be a dollar and fifty cents," he said.
While Madeline reached in her purse, the boys handed the server some money.
"Oh, we'll pay for it," said Stefan.
"Yeah, and keep the change," added Mat.
Madeline smiled at the boys.
"Oh, that's nice of you," said Lizzie. "But you should've let Madeline pay for it. She is mad rich!"
Madeline nudged Lizzie in the arm hard.
"Ow," Lizzie mouthed, holding her arm.
"Rich?" asked Stefan. "What do you mean by that?"
"Listen," started Madeline, "it was nice meeting you but I think it's time for me and Lizzie to go." She grabbed her cup of shaved ice.
"Now, wait, wait a minute," Mat demanded. "It doesn't matter if you're rich or not. We're not after your money. We just want to talk to you, get to know you. Is that too much to ask?"
Madeline glanced down. "No, I guess not."
"So Madeline, Lizzie. Those are some pretty names."
"Thank you," Madeline said, smiling. "My friends call me Maddie for short."
"And my parents call me Elizabeth for long," added Lizzie.
"Interesting," commented Stefan. "So since we know your names and favorite colors, would you like to hang out with us for the rest of the day?"
"Gee, I don't know," said Lizzie, shaking her head.
"Come on," said Mat. "We're cute."
"That is true," said Madeline. "But we came here with friends."
"Do you think they'll mind?"
"Well, one friend is getting a tan. Another friend is somewhere taking pictures of a jellyfish. And the other friend... wants to collect seashells. I don't think they'll mind if we hang out with you for a bit."
"Alright!" Stefan cheered.
Mat grinned at Madeline who grinned back. She took her spoon from her cup of ice and used it scoop some of Mat's shaved ice. She stuck the spoon in her mouth and consumed the grape-flavored treat.
"Mm, yummy," she said.
"Yes, it is," said Mat.
"We forgot to get Debra something," Lizzie whispered to Madeline.
"Shh!" Madeline shushed her.

Embarrassment Town (Chapter 3)

The day after, Madeline invited the girls over to her place. She just recently admitted that she does have bad luck and it's going way too far. The girls rang the doorbell and Madeline yelled that it was open. They let themselves in but didn't see Madeline in the living room at all. They moved further in and caught Madeline in the kitchen chopping up a stick of sage with a butcher knife. She is also wearing multiple bejeweled necklaces and bracelets.
"Hey, sisters," she said, smiling at her friends.
"What are you doing?" asked Skye.
"Chopping up sage. No big deal."
Andrea chuckled. "What are you doing that for?" she inquired.
 "So I can burn it."
 "Why?" questioned Skye.
"You guys ask a lot of questions." Madeline put down the knife. "I'm trying to get rid of the bad luck, okay?"
 "With sage?" inquired Lizzie.
"I looked online on how to get rid of my bad luck and it says that burning sage helps. And being around crystals and gemstones help ward off evil. Good thing I own jewelry with the finest stones. It makes me feel like an Egyptian princess."
 "Good for you, Cleopatra."
Madeline continued to chop up the sage. "Whatever, Skye. Although, I do admire Cleopatra as an important figure." Madeline picked up all the chopped sage with her hands and dropped it in a black bowl. "Now the big finale." She took out a matchbox and picked a random match. She rubbed it on the table, causing it to ignite. Then she dropped the match into the bowl, setting all the sage on fire.
Lizzie yelped at the sight of the fire.
"Don't worry," assured Madeline. "This bowl is fireproof." She grabbed an oven mitt and began carrying the bowl. "Can someone open the window please?" She walked out of the kitchen with the bowl.
"I'll get it," said Debra. She entered the kitchen and opened up the window.
Madeline carried the smoking bowl to every corner of the dining and living room.
"Uh, are you sure that this stuff is working, Madeline?" asked Skye.
"Well, nothing bad has happened in the last five minutes so yeah," answered Madeline. "I got to try all the methods, though."
 "What methods?" asked Andrea.
"Well, I got to declutter my home from the things I don't want or use. I'm starting to become a hoarder. Also, I got to rearrange the furniture in my house. I don't mind doing that. And I got to turn all the lights on. No darkness can touch this room."
"And that's all?" Skye asked sarcastically.
Madeline put the bowl of burning sage on the coffee table. "Not quite. There were other methods I've tried. I bathed in salt water, I burned incense, and I saved all the broken pieces of my favorite handheld mirror. And--Oh! Do you like my shirt?" Madeline tugged on her gray sweater, which had a big green four-leaf clover on it.
 "Cute!" Lizzie commented.
"Thanks. But I feel like I'm forgetting some things."
"Have you tried cleansing your chakras with fresh flowers?" asked Debra, standing by the dining room.
"No, I have not. Thank you, Debbie. And I also need a horseshoe. My mom owns some horses so getting a shoe shouldn't be hard to do."
"You know what else you could do to throw away your bad luck?" questioned Skye. "Donate all the money you hide from us."
"Donate? No way. I got to think about myself first."
"Of course you would say that."
"Madeline, are you sure you know what you're doing?" inquired Andrea. "I mean, you're doing a lot."
"The more, the merrier," said Madeline, putting her hands on her hips. "I spilled salt and broke a mirror. I need to get lucky fast."
Right there, Debra felt something brush up against her leg. She looked down and could not help but smile. "Aw!" she uttered.
The girls looked at her and saw a white rabbit on the floor, wiggling its black nose.
Debra picked it up and took a better look at it. "Where did this little bunny rabbit come from?" she asked.
"Oh, I bought it after I got off from work," Madeline replied.
"You bought a rabbit?" Skye questioned.
"It's so cute," Debra remarked. "I didn't think you'd get another pet."
"Oh, it's not a pet," Madeline corrected. She picked up a cleaver, which was sitting on the coffee table. "I just need it for its foot." She approached Debra but stopped when she turned around, shielding the animal.
"What?" Debra shrieked. "You are not cutting off its feet!"
"Relax, I only need the left foot."
"I don't care which foot it is. You're not harming this bunny. I won't let you."
"Why do you have a cleaver in your living room?" asked Skye.
"You ask too many questions," said Madeline, pointing the cleaver at her.
"Madeline, I love you but esta loca!" uttered Andrea. "Girl, you can't buy a rabbit just to cut off its foot. I better call PETA on your tail."
"Look, I just want to have good luck."
"But nobody's lucky," said Skye. "Good luck isn't real. I'm starting to think your bad luck is a coincidence. I mean, nothing bad is happening to you right now."
"That's because I got all this stuff."
 "Listen, I don't think it's working. I think it's a placebo. It's all in your head."
"I don't have to listen to you. You're not the one with the bad luck. You know what? I don't need a rabbit's foot. I just need sunlight. Lizzie, can you open the balcony door? I want to let all the sunlight in and air out the sage."
"Nobody wants to smell your sage," said Andrea.
"It's not for them. It's for me. So can everybody calm down?"
"We're calm," said Debra. "You're the one with the cleaver, threatening to cut off this bunny's foot."
"Yeah, you're being ridiculous," agreed Skye. "Or in your language, ridic."
"I'm not being ridic," said Madeline, putting her knife down on the dining table. "I just want to be safe and sound for this wedding. Okay? I am a bridesmaid."
"Maddie, you don't happen to have a cat, too, do you?" asked Lizzie loudly.
 "No. Why?"
"Because I happen to see one."
The girls joined Lizzie on the balcony. They looked down and saw a black cat chilling on the grass outside of the building, twirling its tail.
 "Oh, my God," moaned Madeline.
"Whose cat is that?" asked Lizzie.
 "Possibly a witch's," joked Skye.
"Hey!" Madeline yelled. "Get out, cat!"
"Cats don't speak English," said Lizzie.
 "I know, Lizzie."
"So I guess you're gonna be needing that horseshoe, huh?" asked Skye.

BBF4E (Chapter 3)

It was just a few minutes in and DeMarcus and Kyle were already fighting. Actually, DeMarcus had his hands wrapped around Kyle's neck while shaking him back and forth. Kyle's eyes were like a frog's as he gagged. Calvin did his best to pull DeMarcus away. Eventually, he was able to take DeMarcus' hands off of Kyle's neck. Calvin pushed him back while Kyle gasped for air.
"Who taught you how to choke?" Kyle panted. "Your mother?"
"Don't talk about my mama!" DeMarcus demanded, beginning to charge at Kyle.
Calvin continued to hold him back. "Hey, don't stoop to his level," he said to DeMarcus. "He's just trying to get a rise out of you."
DeMarcus glanced at Calvin before staring down Kyle. "You're lucky Lizzie's not here. I don't want her to see this side of me."
"I don't think you can get any angrier than that," said Kyle. "You're nothing but a teddy bear."
"Hey, teddy bears are cool!"
"Sure they are."
Straight off, Calvin's phone started beeping. He took it out of his pocket and looked at the screen. Madeline was requesting a FaceTime with him.
"Oh, Madeline's calling," Calvin warned.
He answered the call and Madeline's face took over the screen. He could Lizzie looking clothes in the background.
"Hey, baby boy!" said Madeline, smiling.
"Hey, baby girl!" Calvin responded.
Kyle snickered.
"Are you still at the house?" asked Madeline.
"Of course," Calvin replied. "Why would I leave?"
"I don't know. I figured someone would. Everyone else is still there, right?"
"Yeah, of course. Nobody left."
Madeline squinted her eyes. "Let me see."
Calvin eyed all the boys, prompting them to get up. The boys grouped with Calvin, getting their faces in the small screen in the corner of the phone.
"See?" asked Calvin. "We're all here."
"Oh, goodie!" said Madeline.
Lizzie turned around and stood by Madeline, looking into her phone. "Oh, hi, my summer sunflower!" Lizzie said, grinning.
"Hi, my cherry blossom," DeMarcus responded.
"Everything's good over there?"
"Yep, we're getting along like Tom and Jerry."
"Tom and Jerry don't get along," Madeline corrected.
"Oh, then I guess whoever's not Tom and Jerry, we're getting along just like them."
"Okay."
Kyle began reaching under Calvin's shirt and pinching his back. Calvin tried to use his free hand to swat Kyle away. But Kyle continued to pinch him, trying to make it look like he's not doing anything. Calvin didn't want to make it noticeable to Madeline but he felt himself making faces, which he tried to restrain.
"So I was just calling to let you know that you guys can have lunch," continued Madeline.
"Oh, cool!" said DeMarcus.
"You may help yourselves to the fridge and the cabinets. I have a ton of food. Please don't drink all my water and eat my fruits. I'm on a no-sodium diet."
"Got it," said Calvin, scrunching his nose.
"Are you okay?"
"Yes, I just need to pee, that's all."
"Well, you should've peed in your house before you came here."
"Yeah, you should've peed in your house," repeated Kyle.
"And don't make a mess," Madeline ordered. "With the food, not with your pee. But don't pee and make a mess with that either."
"Okay, Madeline," said Calvin, his eye twitching.
"I suggest you hold in it until I say you can use the bathroom."
"Madeline, we got to go."
"Alright. Hey, did Sean come over?"
"Yes, which I find excessive," started Randall, "because if you're checking up on us, why would you need a lackey?"
"So me and the girls can take our time at the mall."
"Of course you would say that."
"Whatever, Randall."
"Madeline, we need to go!" Calvin said really fast with his eyes closed shut.
"Okay. See you when we get home."
"Bye, Maddie," Kyle sang, waving his one hand. His other hand continued to pinch Calvin's back.
"Bye?"
"I love you, Mister Goodbar!" said Lizzie.
"I love you, too, my Pay Day!" replied DeMarcus.
Calvin ended the call. He dropped his phone on the couch so he could use his hands to hit Kyle repeatedly.
"Ow, ow," Kyle said deadpan. "That hurts. You're really getting me."
The boys went in the kitchen and opened up the refrigerator and the cabinets. They picked out the food and snacks that they wanted to consume. When they were done, they went to the dining room and sat at the table to have their lunch.
Kyle sat down with two cans of Pepsi. He decided to throw one of them to Jeffrey, who catches it without even looking at it. Kyle looked at what Calvin got: a plastic container of sushi and California rolls. He even brought his own set of chopsticks.
"You're eating sushi?" asked Kyle.
"Yes," Calvin answered irritably.
"Wow, you really are gay."
"Straight guys can enjoy sushi for lunch!"
"I guess they can. What else are you going to have? A cherry Pop-Tart?"
"Will you shut up and let me eat? I figured you would understand my appreciation for this food."
"Why? Because it's an Asian food? Sushi is Japanese; I'm Korean. So, no, I don't understand your appreciation for this food. At least not a hundred percent."
Kyle and Calvin heard rustling and looked over to DeMarcus. They were surprised to see how many items were on his side. There were so many that Kyle had to list them aloud.
"A triple decker sandwich, a tortilla wrap, a family-size bag of chips, a small bag of little cookies, an apple and a carton of milk."
"It's not an apple," clarified DeMarcus. "It's a tomato. See?" He picked up the fresh tomato and showed it to the guys. "Madeline said to not eat the fruits."
"Tomato is a fruit," said Randall.
"Oh, is it?"
"Why the frick are you eating all this?" asked Kyle.
"Food creates fat. I need fat to build muscle. I always eat like this before I work out."
"Who said that you got to eat like that to build muscles?"
"My coach. My old coach."
"Uh-huh." Kyle looked at Jeffrey, who was doing something really interesting.
All the guys watched Jeffrey separate two slices of white bread on his paper plate. By the plate was a little box of Cap'n Crunch, a rolled-up bag of granulated sugar and a plastic-covered slice of American cheese. He unwrapped the cheese before placing it on a slice of bread. Then he unrolled the bag of sugar and gently poured it on both bread slices. Next, he opened the box of cereal, opened the sealed bag and poured that on the slice with the cheese. He used his hands to crush the cereal down. Jeffrey put the slices together, bits of cereal and sugar falling onto the plate. Then he gave his sandwich a good chomp. As he crunched his lunch, he saw all the boys looking at him. Not believing what they just have seen, they all slowly look away.
Kyle got up and sat next to Randall. He brought his can of Pepsi with him. Randall just started picking up the sandwich he made.
"What are you having?" Kyle asked.
"It's none of your business," Randall replied.
Kyle snatched the sandwich out of Randall's hands and began examining it.
"What are you doing? Unhand that! Unhand that, I said."
"Why do you talk like Stewie?"
"I have no idea what you're talking about."
"That's a shocker." Kyle tossed the sandwich onto Randall's plate. "You cut off the crust on your sandwich?"
"I don't like crusts."
"And it's just sliced turkey and lettuce. Really?"
"Hey, it's my sandwich. Where's your lunch anyway?"
"Oh, it's this." Kyle held up his soda. "But I did bring something. You guys want to see?"
"See what?" asked DeMarcus.
"Well, it's in my car."
"Kyle, you can't go to your car," mentioned Calvin. "We're not allowed to leave the apartment."
"But if we do leave, we got to leave together and all we got to do is come back."
"Listen, there is no way we're leaving the condo."

"I can't believe we just left the condo!" Calvin said.
"Will you be quiet?" requested Kyle, who was leading the way.
"What if we get caught?" asked Randall. "Sean is supposed to be watching us."
"I don't see Sean anywhere. He probably went home. I could feel he was bluffing about keeping an eye on us."
Kyle took his keys out his pants' pocket and unlocked his cool car. He opened the door to the backseat.
"You guys like cheesecake?" he asked.
"Oh, not at all," replied Randall. "I'm lactose intolerant."
"Not that kind of cheesecake." Kyle crawled inside and pulled down the hidden armrest in the middle of the seat. Out of the compartment scattered numerous papers with scantily clad women photographed on them. Kyle grabbed as much as he could and showed them to the guys. "This kind of cheesecake," he said.
"Pornography?" asked Calvin.
"Not pornography. These women are classy. That's why they're half-naked."
"Why does it look like you tore them out of magazines?" asked DeMarcus.
"Eh, my dad can't have all the fun." Kyle closed the door. "Now let's go." He locked the door and led the way back to the building.
As the guys followed him, they all saw Sean standing by what seems to be his car. The guys panicked and went the other way. They tried to find another door that leads inside the building but every turn they made, they saw Sean in their path. They went one way, he was there. They went another way, he was there. No matter where they were running, Sean was somehow in the way. And he had no idea that the fellas were outside. He just kept wandering and wandering. Finally, the guys ran into a dead end. They bumped in front of a tall, black fence.
"Oh, no, we're trapped!" said Calvin. "Madeline's gonna dump me and leave me for Sean. Okay, she might not go to Sean but she's still gonna dump me!"
Kyle shook his head. "No, she's not," he said. "I'm gonna distract Sean. You guys find a door."
"You're gonna risk your relationship with Debra?"
"She deserves better. But I got an idea." Kyle turned to Randall and stuffed all the photographs down his slacks. "Here."
"Unnecessary," said Randall.
"Good luck." Kyle began running the opposite way with the guys watching him disappear.
At the top of his lungs, Kyle sang "Gangnum Style" by South Korean artist Psy to get Sean's attention.

Najeneun ttasaroun inganjeogin yeoja
Keopi hanjanui yeoyureul aneun pumgyeok inneun yeoja
Bami omyeon simjangi tteugeowojineun yeoja
Geureon banjeon inneun yeoja

Sean heard the singing and knew something was up. He ran through paths and looked around, following the voice.

Eh, sexy lady
Op, op, op, op
Oppa Gangnam Style

Eventually, Sean bumped into Kyle and grabbed him by the wrists.
"Well, look at what we have here," Sean said.
"Naelyeo! Son chiwo!" Kyle uttered, struggling in Sean's grip.
"Uh-uh. Don't use your foreign talk on me." Sean took Kyle's hands behind his back and restrained them as if he was about to handcuff him. "You know, I've always admired your relationship with Debra from afar. I wish you were Calvin right now. Why couldn't you be Calvin?"
"I don't know, man. I'm just a rebel."
"Well, this rebel is going to get into serious trouble when the girls find out that you left the condo."
"Wait! Before you call Madeline, can I show you a magic trick?"
"A magic trick?"
"Yeah, I've been dying to show somebody this trick I learned. The guys didn't care to see it so I was wondering if you want to."
Sean let go of Kyle. "Fine. I like magic tricks."
Kyle faced Sean and put up two fingers -- his index and middle finger -- in front of his face. "Okay, follow the fingers."
He moved them left and right at a slow pace. Sean's eyes moved along with the fingers. After moving his fingers for a good five seconds, Kyle's ring finger and pinkie joined with his thumb still at his palm. Then he used that hand to chop Sean in the shoulder. Like mad, Sean dropped to the ground, out like a light.
Kyle shrugged his shoulders and fixed his black leather jacket. "I love being Asian," he muttered to himself.

Ding-dong!
Calvin got up from the dining chair and answered the door.
"How you doin'?" Kyle asked, coming in.
He walked towards Randall, who was sitting at the table, and gestured his hand. Randall rolled his eyes before digging into his pants and pulling out the crumpled-up photographs. He handed them all to Kyle. Calvin went back to his seat.
Kyle started passing the photos around the table so all the boys could catch a glimpse of at least one. For a while, the boys, except for Calvin, took a look at the pictures, hooting and laughing at them. Calvin tried to finish his sushi but couldn't help but glance at the boys as their laughter grew louder.
Kyle saw how bug-eyed Randall was when he caught sight of a big-breasted woman in nothing but a pair of suspenders. Kyle unhooked his sunglasses from his plaid shirt and gave them to Randall. He put them on and continued to look at the photo. He saw it in a whole new hue, which made him snicker, trying to refrain from cracking up. Kyle laughed at him.
Feeling like Calvin was being left out, Kyle handed him a photograph. Calvin took it and gave it a look. He began to laugh, which made him choke on the sushi he was currently eating. Rice and bits of seaweed flung out of his mouth. The guys watched him cough and started laughing.
"Boys cannot handle their cheesecake," said Randall in a funny voice. "That's what it is."

Everybody Loves a Waitress (Chapter 3)

A week after, Lizzie asked her friends to come by Tidbits so she can serve them. So that's what they did. Lizzie provided them with a location so they could know where to go. While Lizzie was at work, Andrea drove her friends to Tidbits, which is located in an urban part of Orange County. She parallel-parked alongside a strip mall where Tidbits was on the end and the biggest place there. The girls carefully got out and hopped on the sidewalk. They walked towards the clear doors of Tidbits and entered through them.
"This place looks nice and clean," commented Debra.
When the girls looked up, they saw how neat the tables were settled in the large room. The tables were draped in white cloth and the walls were cherry red. The floors were even covered in red and white diamond tiles. The restaurant, overall, looked four stars. Yet what really captured the girls' attention were the waitresses. No waiters, just waitresses. And they all looked similar to Lizzie. Just tall girls with good bodies, nice hair and heavy makeup. They were all serving the full tables of customers, which seemed to be all men.
"I think we accidentally walked into a gentlemen's club," said Skye.
"No, this is Tidbits," said Debra. "I saw the sign right above these doors."
"And the workers are wearing what Lizzie wears," added Andrea.
Shortly, an employee, possibly the hostess, stepped in front of the girls. She had long, brown hair that draped over her big breasts. She had brown eyes and big lips covered in a strong red lipstick. She had a pitched nose and high cheekbones highlighted with sparkly, creamy makeup. She was also chewing gum obnoxiously.
"Hello, welcome to Tidbits," she said in a monotone voice, "the new eatery with good eats for good men but we also appreciate a good woman. I'm Muffy. I assume a table for four?"
"Uh, yeah," replied Madeline, holding onto her purse strap.
"Right this way." Muffy grabbed some menus and walked through the aisles of the place with the girls following her.
"I can tell you're in a good mood," muttered Skye.
Debra nudged her on the arm.
Muffy directed the girls to an empty table somewhere in the back of the room. She placed the menus on the table before leaving. The girls picked their seats and sat down. In no time, Lizzie came to the girls' table, smiling like a Cheshire cat.
"Hey, guys," she said.
The girls said hi to her.
"So you're going to be serving us?" asked Debra.
"Yep, I got to start off with drinks."
"Very good, Lizzie," Madeline commented.
"Thank you." Lizzie took out her notepad, which was secured in the belt of her apron. Then she took out her pen, which she kept in her cleavage. "So what would you like to drink?"
"You keep your pen in your breasts?" asked Andrea.
"I don't think we have that drink. We have lemonade, hot chocolate, coffee, water, Orgasms, Buttery Nipples and coke. Not actual coke; just making that clear."
"This place serves Buttery Nipples?" asked Madeline.
"Yep. It's some type of drink; I don't know why we call it that. Maybe it's for babies."
"It's not for babies, Lizzie," said Skye, shaking her head.
"You know what? I'll just have a lemonade," said Madeline.
"Me, too," said Andrea.
"I'll have a water," said Debra.
"Give me a coke," said Skye, "even though you don't have actual coke."
Lizzie scribbled all their orders down. "Alright. Be back in a seccy." Lizzie walks away.
The girls look in their menus while Skye looks around.
"This is like a knockoff of Hooters," she said.
"I think I've seen a place like this on Catfish," shared Debra.
"Will you guys stop?" asked Madeline. "This is Lizzie's first job. We shouldn't insult it."
"We're not insulting anything," said Skye. "It's just bizarre. And that girl said Tidbits is a place for good men but they appreciate a good woman. What the frick does that mean?"
"It means you should shut up and find something to eat."
"Do you think they have those tuna salad sandwiches that The Tea Room makes?" questioned Andrea.
"No, the only way to get those sandwiches is if you go to The Tea Room."
"Lizzie should've got a job at The Tea Room then."
"If she got a job there, then the sandwiches would be terrible. Everybody needs to support Lizzie's job and just order something."
"This sounds delicious," said Skye, looking inside her menu. "Beefcake. It's basically meatloaf... but they call it beefcake."
"How about this one?" Andrea questioned. "Wieners and buns. Doesn't even say 'hotdogs'. It says, 'Wieners n' buns'. Yummy?"
"And look what they have for dessert," declared Debra. "Studmuffins. 'Freshly baked muffins spangled with candy jewels.' That sounds interesting."
"Looks like they don't have any salads on here, Debra," noticed Andrea.
"Oh, that's fine. Maybe I should ask to get the 'Apple with a Baby's Arm'. What?" Debra wrinkled her forehead.
"Listen, Madeline, I ain't trying to eat a baby's arm," said Skye.
"Then don't order it," Madeline commanded.
In a little while, Lizzie came back with a tray of drinks. She set it on the table and began passing them out.
"Don't drop them," Skye said, not seriously.
Lizzie giggled. "Here you go," she said, picking up her empty tray.
"Wow, Lizzie," said Madeline. "I must say I'm impressed so far."
"Thank you. Are you guys ready to order?"
"Mm, not yet."
"Do you mind giving us some recommendations?" requested Skye.
"Oh, sure. No problem. How about some appetizers?"
"Sure."
"Okay, we're serving hot wangs."
"Why did you say like that?" asked Andrea.
"Like what?"
"You said 'hot wings' weird."
"Oh, they're not hot wings. We call them hot wangs."
"You know what?" said Skye. "I don't think we need appetizers. Got any ideas what we should order?"
"Oh, we have noodles and balls."
"Really?"
"That's what we call our spaghetti and meatballs."
"Then I guess I'll have that then." Skye chuckled a fake laugh.
"It also comes with buns."
"No buns. Just give me the noodles and the... stuff."
Lizzie scribbled Skye's order down on her notepad. "Okay. And the rest of you?"
Andrea looked at Madeline.
"Uh, just give the rest of us wieners and... buns," Madeline responded.
"Okay." Lizzie wrote that down.
"Hello?" said Debra, waving her hand. "Vegetarian?"
"Just get the baby arm," Madeline insisted.
"Is there anything else I can eat?"
"We have sweet melons," replied Lizzie.
"Then give me that."
Lizzie wrote it down. "Alright. I'll make sure your food is hot and moist for you guys."
"Don't say that, Lizzie," Skye almost muttered.
"That's what I have to say to everybody but okay." Lizzie walks off and opens the door to the kitchen, disappearing into it.
"I caught a glimpse of the kitchen," noted Skye. "The chefs wear the same thing as the waitresses. They're not even wearing the hats."
"Lizzie better not be cooking our food," said Andrea.
"You guys, I have a strange feeling about this place," shared Debra.
"Me, too," Skye agreed. "This place is giving me chlamydia."
"Guys, will you relax?" asked Madeline. "This place is just like any other normal restaurant."
"Uh, no, normal restaurants call their spaghetti and meatballs 'spaghetti and meatballs'. Not 'noodles and balls'."
"They're just trying to be unique. There's nothing wrong with that."
"Yes, that is right," Debra agreed.
"Dios mio," uttered Andrea, looking to her left. "I can see her thong."
The girls looked where Andrea was looking and saw a waitress at the table next to them, leaning against it, talking to a customer. They were able to see the waitress' skimpy underwear right under her uniform.
"You don't got to look at her butt, Andrea," said Madeline. "Have some manners."
"Really? I should have manners in this place? We're about to eat wieners and buns."
"Still, these girls don't want to be ogled at."
"Are you serious, Madeline?" asked Skye. "They're wearing dresses that stop above their crotches."
"And they got way too much makeup on," added Debra.
"Oh, my gosh," said Madeline, glancing at the ceiling. "Do you hear yourselves? This is Lizzie's workplace and as her friends, we need to respect her workplace."
"How can we respect her workplace when it's full of half-naked girls and suggestively named foods?" questioned Skye. "And the Night Owl Special? What's that?"
"It's the opposite of the Early Bird Special. Use your mind, Skye."
"Look, we're here and we ordered food," reminded Debra. "Why don't we just do what we normally do at restaurants?"
"Fine," said Skye, rolling her eyes. "I'm thirsty anyway."
"Yeah, me, too," said Madeline.
The girls picked up their drinks and took a sip at the same time. Immediately and simultaneously, they spit on the table before covering their mouths and coughing.
"¿Que demonios?" uttered Andrea loudly.
"What is this?" asked Skye.
"I think they're half alcohol," guessed Madeline.
"How do you know what alcohol tastes like?"
"I just know, okay?"
"This doesn't taste like water at all," noted Debra.
"Yours probably has vodka in it."
Skye stared at Madeline.
"It's just a guess."
Madeline looked around to see if any waitresses were coming by. One was about to walk past so Madeline caught her attention and stopped her. She was of Asian descent with brown eyes and a big chest.
"Excuse me," said Madeline. "Yeah, hi. Uh, I'm afraid that whoever was making the drinks put alcohol in ours."
"Well, how old are you guys?" asked the waitress.
"We're all eighteen."
"Then there's nothing wrong with your drinks."
"Um, not to sound like Albert Einstein," started Skye, "but I do believe that the drinking age is twenty-one."
"Really? I didn't know that and I drink all the time."
"I'm sure you do."
"Listen, lady, we don't want alcohol in our drinks," said Madeline.
"Then you should've asked for the kid drinks," said the waitress. "We don't put alcohol in those." She then walked away, ending the conversation.
"If we want something non-alcoholic, we got to ask for the kid drinks?" questioned Skye.
"Okay, that's just weird," commented Madeline.
"Really?"
Now the waitress whose thong was showing started to hold the customer's hand. He was a big guy in a white wifebeater and trucker hat. Underneath his hat was a brunet mullet and he had a matching goatee. She helped him up and led him to the door next to the kitchen.
"What is happening?" asked Andrea.
"Maybe she's showing the man where the bathrooms are," guessed Debra.
"The bathrooms are over there," said Skye, pointing at the restroom doors next to the mysterious door.
"Well, don't I feel like a fool."
"Okay, this is not acceptable restaurant behavior," said Madeline.
"Ya think?" inquired Skye, raising an eyebrow.
Madeline looked around and found another waitress. "Hey, you!" she called.
The waitress turned around and came right over. She had auburn hair, green eyes and plush lips. Her breasts were just as big as the last waitress'.
"Uh, I saw one of the workers take a man into that door between the kitchen and the bathrooms. What is that door?"
"Oh, that's the Night Owl Special door," the waitress answered.
"Oh. What is that?"
"Well, after you order the Night Owl Special, you and your lucky waitress get to go through that door, which leads to a room."
Madeline laughed awkwardly. "What kind of room?"
"It's a special room where you and your waitress get to play."
"With what? Toys?"
"Well, there are toys in there."
"Lady, I don't get what you're trying to say."
"Oh, my God, Madeline," moaned Skye. "It's a playroom."
"For adults," added Andrea.
The waitress nodded.
"Oh, my," Madeline said, shaking her head. "Oh, my."
"Who's your waitress?" the waitress asked.
"Lizzie," Debra answered, almost not wanting to.
"Ooh, Lizzie. She's the kind of girl who will do anything."
"No," Madeline sternly said. "No, she's not. Don't talk about her like that. She's my friend, alright? She is not that type of girl. She would never do those things with anybody."
"Wow, somebody needs to go to the playroom."
"No, no, I do not. I'm fine. Sorry for raising my voice."
"You're forgiven. I like aggression anyway." She caressed Madeline's shoulder before walking away.
Madeline's eyes widened. She wiped her shoulder as if the waitress put dirt on it.
Skye laughed. "Madeline's got a girlfriend," she sang. "Madeline's got a girlfriend."
"Shut up," Madeline hissed. "I can't believe she did that."
"I can't believe there's a playroom," said Debra.
"Guys, could this be?" asked Andrea.
"Yep," Skye replied. "This place is a whorehouse. Or a whore steakhouse. Either way, there are whores."

I'm Moving Out! (Chapter 3)

Ding-dong! The doorbell to Madeline's place rang.
"Coming!" she shouted.
She came out in a sexy, red robe that stopped above her knees. She tied the belt around her waist before fixing her golden locks. She rushed towards the door and didn't look through the peephole. She opened the door, hiding herself behind it.
"Bienvenue a chez moi, Calvin," she uttered.
"Calvin?" asked Lizzie. "It's me, Lizzie." She entered with a suitcase in each hand.
"Oh." Madeline closed the door. "What are you doing here? And why do you have luggage?"
"I'm moving in with you!" Lizzie grinned.
Madeline put on a fake smile. "Say what?"
"I got into an argument with my mom and I told her that I would move out. So I did and now I'm moving in with you."
"Oh. You're moving in?"
Lizzie nodded. "Yep. I figured you wouldn't mind. Your place is big enough for, like, six people."
"Yeah, I'm definitely aware of how big my condo is. Uh, did you ask any of the other girls to stay with them?"
"Nope. I figured why stay with the girls when they still live with their folks when me and you can have fun time together."
"That's great, Lizzie. But don't you think you could've asked me before you came here?"
"Naw, you're my best friend; I didn't think you'd mind."
Madeline laughed awkwardly. "Yeah, I don't mind... because I'm your best friend. And best friends don't mind."
"So should I sleep in the guest room or do you want to share a bed?"
"Whatever makes you comfortable, Lizzie. You are here and apparently you're gonna stay here for a long time. But I don't mind... because I'm your best friend."
"Why are you dressed like that?"
"Huh?"
"You got on a robe. Wait, you were expecting Calvin. Oh, my gosh! Were you planning to lose your Visa or whatever it's called? You're gonna lose your Visa to him?"
"V-card. And no, I invited Calvin to come over so I decided to put on a little something-something."
"Well, it sure is something... something."
"I figured he and I would watch a movie and drink some bubbly."
"Is that another word for soda?"
"No, champagne."
"Champagne? Aren't you a little young to drink champagne?"
"Hey, it's my champagne."
"Okay. What movie are you guys watching?"
"Me Before You."
"Oh, I hate that movie. The guy kills himself in the end."
"Why would you tell me the end--"
"You know what you should watch? Pretty in Pink. I have the DVD in one of my suitcases. I'm just gonna go unpack and when Calvin comes, we can all watch it."
"We?"
"Yeah. You think I'm just gonna come here and go to sleep or something? Come on, you know me better than that." Lizzie dragged her suitcases out of the living room into the hallway.
"That's right," Madeline called. "I do know you better than that. Because I'm your best friend. And I don't mind that you're here. At all. Don't mind. Best friend!"

Goodbye, School (Chapter 3)

"Please welcome our valedictorian -- and my favorite student -- Madeline King!" declared the principal.
Everyone clapped as Madeline got up and walked behind the podium.
"He didn't have to say who's his favorite student," whispered Madeline's friend, Chrissy, to her friend, A.J.
"How is everybody doing?" Madeline asked into the microphone. "Wow, you all look good. You should look good; you're graduating high school. You're becoming somebody different. I'm going to tell you all a little personal story if that's okay with you.
"I was not always the smart one. I was not always the pretty one. I was not always the confident one. Actually, I still have my insecure moments. Am I smart? Am I pretty? Am I confident? But I guess that it's important to have insecurities. We need to be reminded every day that we are human. We are no different than the person you sit next to. Forget about race, gender, sexuality, favorite singer. We are all the same because we're human and we go through a ton of issues.
"I used to think I was perfect. But -- I know this will seem a surprise -- I am not perfect. I grow hair on my legs, I wax my chin, I pop pimples, I will even pass a little gas. But guess what, so do you. So do all of you. And that is totally fine. However, I used to think that was not fine. Do you know who snapped me out of it? My friends.
"Yes, the four girls I hang out with almost every day of my life. And get this: they are all different from me. Usually, girls like me will hang out with... girls like me. But I didn't do that. There was something about each of these girls that made me gravitate towards them. I've known these girls for almost my entire life. The last friend I made, I met one of them during my freshman year. What's interesting is that we all changed at a certain period of time yet we are still friends. They changed me, only for the better. I can't tell the future but I know that we are best friends forever and I believe that.
"Some of you may not have friends like me. Some of you may not have any friends. But know this: your best friend has to be yourself. You have to know yourself before anyone can know you. You have to love yourself before anyone can love you. Your best friend has to be yourself. And I know that sounds selfish but hear me out. If you don't think you have self-worth, who will? You got to believe in yourself in order to achieve your goals. Nobody goes through life moping around and being suicidal. Everyone deserves to live but it is what you do with your life that determines the influence of your presence.
"Now after this, we won't be students of Laguna Beach High anymore. But some of us will still be students. Is that a bad thing? No. What if you don't go to college? That's fine. What if I live with my parents until I'm fifty years old? As long as you're helping them pay rent, you can do no wrong. We all have a future. It is what we do now that affects our future. Whatever your goal is, start now. Not tomorrow, now. If you don't have time today, then start tomorrow. But you can't start any later than tomorrow. You just can't. You want something, go for it. But you have to do good things. When you leave, remember this: do good things. Be a good person. Be a good best friend. Be good to yourself. Just know that you're going to make mistakes along the way. But you know you're giving it a try when you make mistakes. Thank you."
The audiences applauded for Madeline as she started to leave the podium.
"And if anyone finds a sparkly, peach lip gloss anywhere, notify me. I can't find mine."
Some of the audience members laughed.
"I'm serious. I need my lip gloss back. It's my only peach one."

Time to Shave Your Legs (Part 2) (Chapter 3)

After the girls were done preparing themselves for the prom, they showed themselves off in front of their parents, who were once again reunited. They all took pictures together and send their kids off to the dance. Calvin picked Madeline up from home; Kyle picked Debra up; DeMarcus picked up Lizzie; Skye's mother drove her and Jeffrey; Andrea decided to drive to the prom by herself.
The senior prom was located at a fancy hotel in Orange County. All the teenagers attending turned in their tickets in the lobby and were directed upstairs to a ballroom. Yet it was no ordinary ballroom: it was filled with changing light of color and a band was playing wild music that drove the teens crazy. There was a table clothed in white full of snacks, plastic cups and a bowl of fruit punch. Next to the ballroom was a lounge for the teenagers to chill and have their pictures taken by some professional photographers.
Madeline entered the hotel with Calvin in her arm, looking absolutely beautiful in a sparkly lavender ball gown. Calvin looked cute himself, wearing wine-colored suit with a white bow tie. Many students, girls and boys, complimented Madeline as she walked past them. The students did the same when DeMarcus and Lizzie came through. She looked gorgeous in a long, red gown while DeMarcus sported a blue suit with a red tie. Debra entered with Kyle, wearing a white mermaid dress with orange tribal patterns on the top. Kyle looked funky in a suit covered in a multicolored paisley pattern. Skye did not hold hands with Jeffrey when she came with him. They did look good together with Skye wearing a deep purple dress with black peeking out from the bottom and Jeffrey wearing an all-black suit. Andrea met up with Randall at the prom, arriving in a short white dress with gold sequins in the middle, looking like a unique belt. Randall seemed adorable in a navy blue suit with a plain black tie.
"Aw, you look cute!" said Andrea.
"Please don't make fun of me," ordered Randall.
"Why? You remind me of the teddy bear in a suit I got when I was seven."
"Well, what bride did you have to kill to make that dress?"
Andrea scowled. "Just get to the ballroom, Buster Poindexter." She walked past Randall, who followed her into the ballroom of dancing teenagers.
Madeline and Calvin were idling by the snack table, sipping punch from their cups.
"How's your punch?" asked Calvin.
"It's good," answered Madeline. "I hope they didn't put too much sugar in it."
"It's sweet?"
"Yeah. Is yours sour?"
Calvin nodded. "Yeah."
"Oh, I'm sorry. I like mine but I'm not going to drink too much. I'm on a no-more-than-twenty-grams-of-sugar diet."
"Man, you always seem to be on a diet."
"Well, it's important to stay healthy. Also, I got to look cute for all the handsome boys around me."
"Really?"
"Yeah! I mean, look at Allan Reid over there. If I was Jim Morrison, I would definitely let him light my fire."
"Oh, of course."
"Hey, watch my cup, will ya?" Madeline set her cup down on the table. "I got to go find the powder room. It will take about ten minutes."
"Okay, and when you come back, we have to dance together."
"Of course. But if they play a slow song, you better keep your hands on my waist. Oh, why am I telling you? Of course, you know that, buddy." Madeline walked away, exiting the ballroom.
"Yeah... buddy." Calvin lowered his head until he heard humming. He looked up to see Lizzie dancing her way to the punch bowl.
"Hi, Calvin!" she grinned.
"Hi, Lizzie."
"Where's Maddie?"
"Oh, she went to the bathroom."
"To pee?"
"I guess so."
Lizzie picked up a cup and the ladle from the bowl to pour some punch for herself. "I got to tell you, Madeline was so happy when you asked her to the prom."
"She was?"
"Absolutely. No one else was going to go with her so when you asked her, she felt less alone."
"Oh, right."
"I know we've been here for less than a half-hour but I'm having so much fun. I always have fun with DeMarcus and he's letting me hang out with his black friends."
"Uh, I don't think you need to mention that they're black, Lizzie."
"Oh, do they find that offensive? The last thing I want to do is offend DeMarcus. I love him so much."
"Well, that's good news. Hey, uh, can I tell you a secret?"
"Sure, I love secrets. They're like pieces of candy you stow away from other candy lovers."
"Okay, but you can't tell Madeline."
"Why can't I tell Madeline?"
"Because I love her."
Lizzie froze. Then she laughed. "What?"
"I love Madeline and I loved her since elementary school."
"Elementary school? That's a long time."
"I know and I thought it was a feeling that was gonna go away but it never has. I love your friend, Lizzie."
"But I thought you were gay."
"Why would you think I'm gay?"
"I don't know. I think it's the way you talk or walk."
"I just got some panache, that's all."
"See? Gay word."
"Okay, you don't have to bully me, Lizzie."
"I'm not bullying you. There's nothing wrong with being gay."
"But I'm not gay!"
"Okay! Are you sure?"
Calvin squinted his eyes. "Look, Lizzie, I love Madeline but she only sees me as a friend or so I think."
"Well, I don't know if Madeline likes you more than a friend. I mean, she's always talking about how great you are."
"That's because I do whatever she wants me to do. If she wants me to put something in the paper, I get it in the paper. Sometimes, I get in trouble for it but I keep doing it because it makes Madeline happy."
"Aw, you do love her. Or you're just some lackey."
"Listen, I can't tell Madeline that I love her. Can you tell her... and be subtle about it?"
"Of course, Calvin. I'm great at being subtle. Besides, it's great that you're admitting you love Maddie. Skye loves Jeffrey and she's not gonna do anything about it."
"Good to know. Thanks, Lizzie."
"You're welcome. But if it doesn't work out, you can try to be gay again."
"I was never gay!"
"Hey, there's nothing wrong with trying."
"Lizzie, has anyone ever told you how prejudiced you are?"
"No, I don't think so."
"Well, now someone has."

Time to Shave Your Legs (Part 1) (Chapter 3)

"DeMarcus asked me yesterday," Lizzie told Andrea.
"He did?" asked Andrea.
"Yeah, but it was totally a proposal."
"A prom-posal?"
"Yeah. After he helped his team win the football game yesterday, one of the student anchors asked him what was he going to do next. And he said that he was going to ask me to the prom. So I came running down the bleachers and I jumped in his arms, screaming, 'Yes! Yes!'"
"Aw, was it romantic?"
"Yeah. I mean I tripped, like, three times going down the bleachers. But it was all worth it!"
"You don't say." Andrea looked down at Lizzie's beat-up knees.
"So are you going to ask Randall to prom?"
"No way, Liz'."
"Why not? Don't you still like him?"
"Yeah, but he doesn't really like me."
"You said that he called you beautiful."
"So?"
"So that means he kinda likes you. And you like him, too, so you have to ask."
"I don't think he wants to go with a beautiful woman like me to the prom."
"So you think he's going to go with a beautiful man?"
"I don't know, Lizzie! The point is that he's going to say no."
"Puh-shaw! How is he going to say no? Look, he's right over there."
Andrea turned around to see Randall stapling flyers onto the bulletin board in the hallway.
"You won't know if you don't ask."
"Fine, I'll try. But if he rejects me, you owe me a soda."
"What if he accepts?"
"Then you still owe me a soda."
"Okay!" Lizzie grinned.
Andrea turned around and exhaled. She walked over to Randall, immediately grabbing his attention. "Hi, Randall," she said, smiling.
"What do you want, Andrea?" he asked.
"Do you have a date for the prom?"
"No, I hate every girl in this school."
"You don't have to ask a girl who goes here."
"What's your point, Sherlock?"
"Okay, Sherlock was a man. Don't compare to a man."
"Did you come over here just to start a fight with me?"
"No, I came over here to ask you to the prom."
Randall laughed. "Are you really that desperate?"
"Who you callin' desperate, man?"
"Why are you asking me to the prom?"
"'Cause you ain't got no date! I'm just trying to help you out, man."
"Like I need your help."
"So is it a yes or no?"
"Why are you pressuring me?"
"You have not seen pressure yet, dear."
"I don't need to be forced."
"Then give me an answer!"
"Fine, I'll go since you have no one else to go with."
"What is that supposed to be mean?"
"You obviously had no one to ask."
"Look, just be grateful."
"Whatever, Andrea. I'm busy so can you wrap it up?"
"It's already been wrapped!" Andrea turned around and walked away from Randall, who continued to stick papers on the board. She faced Lizzie and began smiling like a little child. "He said yes, girl."
"Ooh, go ahead with your bad self!" Lizzie said.

Not Meant to Sit on Babies (Chapter 3)

After Debra arrived, she and Lizzie decided to spend time with Dallas in the living room. Debra was holding Dallas, making him stand up on the couch cushions. While Lizzie was making funny faces and tickling Dallas, she heard the doorbell ring.
"Who could that be?" she asked.
"Did you order pizza or something?" asked Debra.
"No, I don't think so."
"How can you not remember?"
"I don't know. Look, just in case it is, can you go get my wallet from my room?"
"Sure." Debra got up and ran upstairs.
The doorbell rang again.
"Coming!" Lizzie shouted. She placed Dallas on the back corner of the seat so he wouldn't be too close to the edge.
She ran out of the living room into the lobby to get to the door. She opened it, revealing Andrea outside with her two younger sisters by her side.
"Hey, Andrea!"
"Hey, Lizzie," Andrea responded.
        "What are you doing here?"
"Oh, I got this date with Niles Hawkins from the gym where I box."
"I thought you like Randall."
"Uh, please, Randall is not going to ask me out for dinner, especially any time soon."
"I guess that's true. But why are you here?"
"See, my parents decided to go on a date on the same day as my date so I need somebody to watch Linda and Krista. And Linda recommended that we should go to you. Is that okay? I mean, do you think your parents will mind?"
"My parents aren't here."
"Fantastic." Andrea pushed her two sisters inside the house. "I'll be back in about two hours, girls. If I don't come back by then, that means I'm having a better time than I expected."
"Do you mean that sexually?" asked Krista, the thirteen-year-old sister.
"Goodbye, girls." Andrea closed the door as she left.
"Bye!" Lizzie screamed, being an inch away from the door. She then looked down at the girls, who looked like tiny clones of Andrea. "So how are you girls doing?" she grinned.
"Good," answered Krista.
"I'm passing math," Linda added, smiling and holding her hands from behind.
"Oh, terrific!" said Lizzie. "I can never undertake those triangles. Do they all have to be one-hundred-eighty degrees?"
Debra slowly walked down the steps with a red, patent wallet in her hand. She stopped in the middle. "Where's the pizza guy?" she asked.
"Oh, that wasn't a pizza guy. It was Andrea and she was dropping her sisters off. Ooh, I forgot to tell her you were here."
Debra giggled awkwardly as she continued to walk down the stairs. "Uh, Lizzie, are you sure you can take care of all these kids?"
"Of course, Debs. I'm a grown adult. Besides, these kids can take care of themselves and you're here with me so nothing can really go wrong."
Suddenly, a thud was heard. The four girls motioned their eyes to the living room and made their way towards it. On the floor by the couch was Dallas, on his back, crying. The girls gasped.
"That's a baby!" said Krista with raised eyebrows.
Lizzie moaned and picked up Dallas, bouncing him gently in her arms.
"Why did you leave the baby by himself?" asked Debra.
"I don't know," said Lizzie. "I didn't think he was going to fall off the couch."
"This is what I was afraid of." Debra took a good look at Dallas.
Leroy walked out of the kitchen with a sandwich on a plate. He entered the living room, stopping behind the girls. "What is all that noise?" he asked. He started to notice Linda, who happens to be his crush. "Oh, hey, sweet thing," he said to her.
Linda slowly turned around, not wanting to see Leroy. "Oh, no," she said.
"Oh, yeah."
Krista said, "Oh, God."
Debra said, "Oh, frick."
And Lizzie said, "Oh, baby!"

The Skye is Falling (Part 2) (Chapter 3)

Less than a week later, the girls had enough. Ever since Skye started dating Dom, she spent more time with him and less time with the girls. But the girls were almost afraid to spend time with her because she became a different person. Not only did Skye change her style, her taste in music and her room, she also dyed her short hair completely black. Seeing this new look frightened the girls. So, after school, they looked for Skye since they knew what class she had last. They eventually caught her in the hallway, pressed against the wall as Dom kissed her. They were utterly disgusted by that scene, not just because they were making out, but because they were always making out.
"Skye," called Madeline.
The couple kept kissing each other.
"Skye," she called again.
Nothing. They kept ignoring her.
"I know you can hear me."
"Let me try," said Andrea. She snatched Dom by his black and gray striped scarf and pulled him off like some Band-Aid.
Dom looked at Andrea in surprise. "Dang," he said. "You're so strong."
"I'm passing gym," explained Andrea, crossing her arms.
"Good for you. I guess I'll see you later, Skye."
"Call me," Skye ordered.
"For sure." Dom walked away, disappearing into a corner.
"What is your deal?" Skye asked Andrea. "Can't you see I was busy?"
"Yeah, busy sucking face," said Andrea.
"Don't get smart with me."
"What?!"
"Let me handle this, Andy," said Madeline, gently push her back so she could face Skye. "Skye, we've been worried about you."
"Why?" Skye questioned. "I'm not dying."
"We know that. It's just that... you changed."
"So?"
"So it's not right," Lizzie jumped in.
"I'm a person. Persons change all the time."
"Yeah, but ever since you started dating Dom," started Madeline, "you changed your appearance and interests."
"That was my choice."
"Was it?"
"Yes, princess. This has nothing to do with Dom."
"So if you weren't with Dom and still with Jeffrey, you would've changed anyway?"
"That's correct."
"I don't believe that."
"Oh, yeah, I forgot; liars can smell other liars."
"I am not a liar!"
"You can say that all you want, Madeline. It's always gonna be true."
"Skye, we support your changes," said Debra. "We're just concerned that it's not for the right reasons."
"You act like I can't take care of myself."
"But it seems like that Dom is influencing you. We're not crazy."
"Are you sure?"
"Do you get why we think that?"
"I mean, I like him so I'm just trying to be his type. That's all."
"His type?" repeated Madeline. "Skye, if he liked you before, then you were already his type."
"But he's different. He's a keeper."
"So, in order for you to keep him, you got to dress like him and do what he does?"
"Now you're getting it."
"Skye, that's corny. I thought you were the only person I knew you didn't subject to corniness."
"Who are you calling corny, Kristen Cavallari? Okay, I'm just doing what I want to do."
"Well, it sounds like you're doing what someone else wants you to do," said Andrea.
"What? Like I'm being brainwashed or something?"
"That's right, Heidi Montag."
"You guys need to chill before you get on my nerves. Do you want a smoke?" Skye reached into her bookbag.
"Excuse me?" said Madeline. "A-A-A-A smoke? Did you say a smoke?"
"Yeah, deafy." Skye pulled out a box of cigarettes.
"Put those away. Someone is going to see you."
Skye took out one cigarette and put away the box. "Will you pipe down? I need this; you're stressing me out."
Andrea swiped the cigarette from Skye's pale hand.
"Hey! Give that back!"
When Skye reached for the cigarette, Andrea crushed the whole thing in her hand.
"You are such a she-devil."
"Don't talk to Andrea like that," Madeline demanded.
"I'll say what I want. Thank you very much. You guys are the ones who don't understand me."
"You never smoked a cigarette in your entire life. How is that not understanding you?"
"You don't get it. You just don't get it. I'm the one who puts up with you. Heck, with all of you. Do you know how hard it is to be around a spoiled brat, a muscleman, and a hippie? You guys have nothing in common."
"Did she just call me a man?" asked Andrea, looking at Debra, who just shrugged.
"And Lizzie. Why do we hang out with Lizzie? You should be concerned for her. She doesn't even know what two plus two is."
"Hey, I know what two plus two is," said Lizzie. "It's four... right?"
Skye blinked multiple times. "Do I need to say more?"
"Skye, we're just trying to be good friends," said Madeline.
"Then try to be perfect friends. Can you do that for me? I don't think so." Skye rolled her eyes then walked away from her supposed friends.
"Give me a reason to not punch that girl in the face," requested Andrea.
"She's just going through a phase," replied Madeline. "It happens to all us."
"And it never happened until now," added Debra. "So let's just let her do her own thing."
"I just want you guys to know," started Lizzie, "is that I know what two plus two equals. I just thought she was asking a trick question."
